This is a very nice Civil War personal item. This is an original Civil War era wool blanket that is the classic style that was used by the soldiers. These are seldom seen, especially in this condition because almost all of the were worn out and thrown away. The blanket itself displays beautifully and is constructed of pale blue-gray woven wool with the darker blue color for the stripe. The blanket measures approximately 67 inches by 83 inches. As you can see it has some light wear and staining. As you can see, it displays quite well from all angles.
