Nicely Framed 18th Michigan Infantry Reunion Ribbon From Adrian 1914

Here is a neat piece that is ready to hang on your wall. This is an original Civil War veteran reunion ribbon. This one is from the 1914 reunion of the members of the 18th Michigan Infantry. They served in Northern Alabama against the Confederates under Confederate generals Hood and Wheeler and then into Middle Tennessee. At the top of the ribbon it has "1862 - 1914" with the image of General Spalding. The lower section has the "52nd ANNIVERSARY and 47th REUNION 18th Mich. INFANTRY". The bottom has the "Adrian" location of the reunion as well as the August 26th 1914 date of the reunion. The ribbon was made into a blanket. I have seen this a few times over the years. Now it has been trimmed off of the blanket and nicely framed in a wooden frame. The frame measures 7-3/4ths inches by 7-1/2 inches in size. All it needs is your wall.
