Authentic Civil War 1862 Dated United States $1.00 "Greenback" PMG- Fine

This is an original piece of currency from the Civil War. This is the classic money that is referred to as a Civil War "Greenback". It is an original piece of U.S. Government currency from 1862. This one is for the value of $1.00 and it was issued August 1st 1862 from Washington. On the left hand side of the note it has the image of Salmon P. Chase who was Lincoln's Secretary of the Treasury. On the back of the note it has the green ink and the statement that it is legal tender for all debts public and private. As you can see the note has the correct printed ink signatures and stamped serial numbers just as it should have. The notes measures 7-9/16ths inches by 3-1/4th inches in overall size. This one has been professionally graded by the PMG Company and they rated it as a 12, which stands for "Fine" Condition. It comes in their acid free holder for display and preservation.
