City of Richmond 60 Cent Bank Note with Dog and Safe Image

Here is a nice original bank note from the "STATE OF VIRGINIA, CITY OF RICHMOND" of the state of Virginia. This one was printed for the amount of 60 Cents. It was issued on April 14th 1862 and is so printed on the top right hand side of the note. This is right in the heart of a town that would become one of the fiercest battles of the Civil War, Richmond. In the center of the note it has the dog sleeping by the treasury safe. It is correctly hand signed and numbered in ink. The note is in nice circulated condition and is 100% authentic in all regards. This pattern of bank note measures approximately 5 inches by 2.5 inches in overall size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
