Click on an image to enlarge
This is a tough to find flask. This is a variation of the brass powder flask of the style that is used for the illustration numbers 689 on page 341 of the Powder Flask Book by Ray Riling. It has the distinctive hunter with his dogs on each side of the brass body. This is a scarce version. It has the original spout intact. It was designed with the four strap loop on the side and they are still present. The flask measures 8-1/2 inches by 3-3/4ths inches in overall size. The flask has a gorgeous color all over and it is in superb condition.
