Here is a neat and affordable group of three buttons from the Indian War timeframe. These are the eagle buttons that would have been worn by officer's of the day. They have the Union eagle on the front with the shield on the eagle's chest. The letter on the shield denotes the branch of service that the man would have been in. This group has one for the Infantry, Cavalry and Artillery. On the back of the buttons they have maker markings that would date from after the Civil War. They are all in fine non-excavated condition and you get all three of them for $45.00.
