This is a great little item. It is the small size powder flask that would have been used with a Civil War revolver. This is the style that stands approximately 6 inches tall and is about 4 inches across. It has the smooth sides with the majority of the leather covering intact. It has a nice well worn look to the leather and a beautiful aged tone to the brass. At the top of the flask it has the spout and it has the brass cap that can be removed. The body of the flask has a nice look the side seams being solid with one of the strap loops still remaining. It will still display very well beside your Civil War era revolver.
