Beautiful Design 1860 State of Alabama Central Bank From Montgomery $2

This is an original 1860 Dated Civil War era $2.00 Note from the State of Alabama. This one was issued by the "CENTRAL BANK OF ALABAMA" and is proudly marked across the center of the note. This private bank issue is from the first capital of the Confederacy. The Central Bank of Alabama did business from 1855-65. On the center of the note it has the Montgomery place of issuance and the other side has the hand written 1860 issuance date. It has the likeness of the the steam train by the platform center scene. This pattern of currency has the hand written ink signatures and serial number. The overall size of the note measures 7-1/8th inches by 3 inches. The note is in attractive circulated condition and is 100% authentic in all regards. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
