Beautifully Designed June 1862 Bank of Louisiana $5 Note

Here is a very interesting Civil War bank note from Louisiana. This one is for the amount of $5 from the Bank of Louisiana in New Orleans. The center of the note has the beautiful spread wing Eagle with the ships in the background. What makes this note special is the date it was issued on April 5th 1860. The note is nicely and correctly hand signed and numbered. On the reverse of the note, it has the beautiful pale red ink printing with the "5" denominations on each side and in the center. It reads "BANK OF LOUISIANA". It is in beautiful circulated condition. The overall size of the note is 7-1/8th inches by 3 inches. It comes in an acid free holder for preservation and display.
