1862 Dated County of Jefferson Mississippi 10 Cent Note From Fayette, Mississippi

Here is a cool piece of Civil War currency from the state of Mississippi. This one was issued from Fayette, Mississippi. It comes from the County of Jefferson for the amount of 10 Cents. Ut has the hand-written date of April 24th 1862. The end panels show the denomination at left and state of 'MISSISSIPPI" at right. It has the bold TEN CENTS protector in reddish-brown is across. The note measures 6 inches by 2-3/4ths inches in overall size. It comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
