1861 Corporatrion of Charlestown (West) Virginia 10 Cent Bank Note

This is an original Civil War piece of currency from Confederate Virginia. This 10 Cent note was issued by the Corporation of Charlestown that was located in Virginia at the time before West Virginia became a state in June of 1862. It has the printed issue date of May 23rd 1861 on the upper side of the note. The front has the note has the Indian Princess image on the left hand side. It is correctly hand signed and numbered. These notes are printed on the front side and were left blank on the reverse. This is known to collectors as the bill being "Uniface". The note is in circulated condition and is 100% authentic in all regards. It has the overall size of the note measures 6-3/4ths inches by 2-1/2 inches. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
