GUARD DOG! Town of Leesburg, Virginia 50 Cent Note From 1861

Here is a nice original bank note from the "The Town of Leesburg" of the state of Virginia. This one was printed for the amount of 50 cents. It was issued on December 1st 1861 and is so printed on the top center of the note. In the center of the note it has the image of the the dog sitting while guarding the safe. On the right hand side, it has the Lady Justice image and on the other side it has President Washington. It is correctly hand signed and numbered in ink. These notes are printed on the front side and were left blank on the reverse. The note is in nice un-circulated condition and is 100% authentic in all regards. This pattern of bank note measures approximately 6-5/8th inches by 2-5/8ths inches in overall size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
