In the lower left hand corner it has the Mechanic vignette that appears on this note also shows up on T32 $5 CSA Treasury Notes. It is joined by an oval portrait of George Washington at right. The bank was organized in 1852 and, like so many others in the state, survived the Civil War only to fail a year later. It is in well worn condition but displays well.
