42nd New York Infantry ID'd 1858 Dated New York Regulations Tactics Manual

Here is an original Civil War era tactics manual. This one was printed in 1858 by Weed, Parsons & Company of Albany. It is entitled "GENERAL REGULATIONS for the Military Stores of the STATE OF NEW YORK". This 352 page hardbound book is in beautiful condition with the original cover intact. On the inside of the cover it has the paper label identifying the owner. It has the name "Edward F. Clark". The records show that Edward F. Clark enlisted on June 22nd 1861 as a Private in the 42nd New York Infantry. He served until August 27th 1861 when he was discharged for disability at Camp Lyon, Maryland. It measures 7-3/4th inches by 5 inches in size. The book is accompanied by a brief printout on Clark's service.
