Palmetto Tree! 1861 Dated 5 Cent Note from the Corporation of Columbia, SC

This is a very attractive 1861 dated Civil War 5 cent note. This one was issued June 28th 1861 and is so dated along the top right of the note. It has the location of Columbia, South Carolina in the upper left of the note. It is correctly designed with the ink signed and numbered. On the left side it has the image of the young farmer. In the center of the note it has the South Carolina State Seal of the famous Palmetto Tree design. The note is printed with the red ink all over and it displays quite well. On the back of the note it has the pale red ink image. The overall size of the note measures 7 inches by 3 inches. This one is in attractive circulated condition. It comes in an acid free holder for conservation and display.
