1864 Dated State of Alabama $50 Currency With State Seal With Governor Whitten

This is an original 1864 Dated Civil War $50.00 Note from the State of Alabama. Across the top of the note it has the Montgomery place of issuance as well as the January 1st 1864 issuance date. It has the likeness of Alabama's Civil War Confederate governor Thomas Watts in the center of the note. Down in the lower right hand corner it has the famous Map on tree State seal of the Great State of Alabama. The lower left hand corner has the image of the Indian Brave. This pattern of currency has the hand written ink signatures and serial number. The overall size of the note measures 7 inches by 3 inches. It has one tear along the top edge. The note is in attractive circulated condition and is 100% authentic in all regards. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
