Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a nice bullet that came straight out of an original cased Tranter revolver set. This is the Civil War bullet known to collectors as the ".39 Deane & Adams" Bullet. You occasionally see these used in the Tranter revolver. This one is in fine shape with an attractive look. It is the .39 caliber version of the style pictured as figure #517 pictured in McKee & Mason's Bullet book. They are very distinctive because of the pin like lead teat that comes out of the bottom of the bullet. This bullet is very fine and is in non-excavated condition.
