This is an attractive original Civil War era powder flask. This one has the body has the sides with the matching geometric designs. The sides of the flask are made of the pewter zinc material and they display well as you can see. It stands about 7 inches tall and is about 3-1/2 inches across. The spout is present with the original spring that is broken but half of it is still present. It has had one of the sling loops removed off of the sides of the flask. This is the style flasks that was popular during the mid-1800's and this larger size would have been for a smaller bore size shotgun or rifle. It has a very attractive overall look!
