Superb Non-Excavated Solid Cast New York Sword Belt Buckle

This is a great looking original non-excavated Civil War belt buckle. This one is from the state of New York. It has the script style "NY" letters in the center of the face of the cast brass plate. It has the integral cast wreath design around the letters and the stippled background. On the reverse of the buckle it has the original medium size belt hook intact. It even has the original brass keeper remaining. This belt buckle has the face that is style that is illustrated as figure #675 of the O'Donnell and Campbell buckle book on page #407. He lists this style plate as being manufactured from 1863 until 1865. This one is a keeper! '
