Late 1800's Shot Flask With Leather Body by American Flask
Click on an image to enlarge
This is a good looking flask. This is the pattern of flask that was designed to carry shot instead of the powder. The body of the flask is made of leather which is in nice shape. The seams have separated over the years and it is priced accordingly. At the top of the flask it has the original brass pour spout with the spring that still works. On one side of the flask it has the maker's mark from the American Flask & Cap Company. This flask would probably date from the late 1800's or early 1900's and is priced accordingly. It makes a superb display piece.
