These are very nice dug Whitney Pattern .36 caliber revolver bullets. This style bullet if listed as figure #496 in McKee & Mason's bullet book, which we sell. They were designed to fit in the .36 caliber Whitney designed revolvers. This is the same Whitney Company that was started by Eli Whitney who is credited for inventing the cotton gin. These bullets were excavated from Civil War campsites in Middle Tennessee. The price quoted is for one original .36 caliber Whitney bullet like the ones pictured.
