Authentic Model .36 Caliber Remington Beals Pattern Civil War Revolver

This is a nice authentic and tough to find .36 caliber Beals model of Remington revolver. This is the early pattern of .36 caliber Remington revolver. The metal on the gun has a darker light gray tone all over that is pleasing to the eye. You can tell that this one saw service. It has the Beals Patent mark across the top of the barrel to go along with the Remington maker's mark and Ilion, New York production location. At the end of the barrel it has the brass sight intact. It has matching serial numbers of 11,706, which is in the latter part of their production. There were only 14,500 of these Beals model revolvers made during their 1861-1862 production. The action works well on all positions. On the handle of the gun it has the 2-piece walnut grip intact and they grips have a pleasing well worn look all over. This is a very attractive and scarce .36 caliber Remington Beals revolver.
