Click on an image to enlarge
This piece is the only one of these ribbons I have ever seen. This is a 1903-04 dated reunion ribbon commemorating the Survivors of the Battle of Stone River in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The ribbon displays well but has the fraying at the top as you can see in the images. The deep red silk ribbon has the black ink printing. It has the image of the flag and globe at the top. The lettering proudly states "4th Annual Reunion / of the /Survivors / Battle of Stone River / SHELBYVILLE, IND. / Dес. 31, 1903 and / Jan. 1st 1904" It measures 6 inches by 1-7/8ths inches in overall size. It comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
