Here is an attractive reunion ribbon from the Union Veterans of the Civil War organization known as the Grand Army of the Republic, G.A.R. This one is from the G.A.R. Post in Muskegon, Michigan. It was named in honor of General Phil Kearny. Philip Kearny Jr. (June 1, 1815 – September 1, 1862) was a United States Army officer, notable for his leadership in the Mexican–American War and American Civil War. The ribbon has the white silk with the blue lettering. It measures 6 inches by 2-1/4th inches in overall size. It is a nice piece of Michigan veteran history.
