Original Non-Excavated Pistol Size Patriotic Powder Flask with "E PLURIBUS UNUM"

Here is a fine looking flask! It is the small size powder flask that you see in the fancy cased sets of pistols including the Colt style revolvers. It has the Union eagle on the side with the shield in front of her. Below her it has the crossed pistols design. It also has the stars stamped into the brass flask body. It has the design on the front and the back is unadorned. The seams are mostly solid as you can see in the images. The brass has a great looking honey color to the metal. The original spout and lever are present at the top but the spring was broken long ago. The flask stands at 4-1/2 inches by 2-1/8ths inches in overall size. This is a nice piece that will make a fine addition to any Civil War revolver display.
