Here is a neat piece that is ready to hang on your wall. This is an original Civil War veteran reunion ribbon. This ribbon was from the Adrian, Michigan reunion of the 11th Michigan Infantry in 1906. The 11th Michigan Infantry Regiment, initially known as Colonel May's Independent Regiment, was a unit in the Union army during the American Civil War. The regiment fought with the Army of the Cumberland in numerous battles, including Stones River, Chickamauga, and Missionary Ridge. The ribbon was made into a blanket. I have seen this a few times over the years. Now it has been trimmed off of the blanket and nicely framed in a wooden frame. The frame measures 7-3/4ths inches by 7-1/2 inches in size. All it needs is your wall.
