Commemorate Virginia Military Institute Belt Buckle with Cadet's Name
Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a fine displaying belt buckle. This is a commemorative small size oval belt buckle. The stamped brass face has the V.M.I. letters for Virginia Military Institute. The lead filled back of the plate has all three of the belt hooks intact. Under the hooks, It has the applied copper plate showing the school. One thing that makes this one neat is that above the copper plate, it has the name of the cadet scratched into the lead. It has the name of John B. Offley and according to the V.M.I. magazine, he was a graduate of the class of 1975. This buckle displays well.
