Authentic Civil War Musician's Sword From Horstmann Of Philly

Here is a very nice piece for the price! It is an original Civil War musician sword. The blade length is 28 inches. At the base of the front of the blade you can see the stamped retailer's mark of "HORSTMANN'S PHILa" retailer's mark at the base. Horstmann imported and sold many fine edged weapons for all branches during the Civil War. On the back of the blade it has at the base it has the partial King's Head design. This is the maker mark of the Clauberg firm of Solingen German. Clauberg made many of the high quality edged weapons for the Union soldiers during the Civil War. Horstmann sold many of the higher quality imported weapons to the Union soldiers during the Civil War. The sword is accompanied by the original brass and leather scabbard. It has the brass drag and the brass throat. The leather has the lower section that has been repaired but looks great as you can see. This is a fine looking Civil War musician's sword with scabbard from the Horstmann firm.
