Bullets
Authentic Group of 10 Civil War .36 Caliber Teardrop Bullets From The St. Louis Arsenal
Click on an image to enlarge
This is one of the most interesting bullet versions. This is the bullet listed as #99 in McKee & Mason's bullet book and as figure 38a in the Thomas bullet book. For years they have been referred to by collectors as being attributed to "Remington" or Leech & Rigdon" but new information has shown that they were actually made in St. Louis. This would explain why the majority of these bullets are found in the Western theater of the Civil War in Tennessee and Mississippi. These were found in campsites in Middle Tennessee. They are in various conditions as you can see but still display well. You get the actual ten bullets that you see pictured for one price. These usually sell for $7.50 each but you get these 10 for $49.00.
