Harrison's Landing Excavated Civil War U.S. Belt Buckle with All 3 Hooks Intact
Click on an image to enlarge

This is an original excavated belt buckle with a great look. This is the classic style that was worn by the regular fighting men of the Civil War. This is the version that has the "Puppy Paw" style stud belt attachment hooks on the reverse. This one still has all three of the original hooks intact and in fine shape. The brass face of the plate has a crystal clear and bold "US" lettering. The verbal history that accompanied this button is that it was recovered decades ago at Harrison's Landing Virginia. This is a neat excavated Civil War U.S. Belt Buckle From Harrison's Landing.
