Click on an image to enlarge
This is a nice looking original Civil War soldier's belt and buckle. This is the classic style that was worn by the actual fighting men of the Civil War. The buckle has a great tone to the brass face and it has a "US" that you can see from across the room. On the back of the buckle it has all three of the original belt hooks intact. The buckle is accompanied by the original black bridle leather belt that has a great look. On the back of the inside of the belt you can still see the correct Civil War maker's mark from the famous "WATERTOWN ARSENAL 1864". They were one of the few makers that marked and also dated their products. This is great for a collector because you know exactly when it was manufactured. This is a fine looking original Civil War belt and buckle!
