93rd New York Infantry Payment Paper for William Sanborn from 1862

Here is an original payment paper for a soldier in the 93rd New York Infantry. William Wallace Sanborn had served in the 93rd New York and this is the document when he was discharged from the regiment on April 30th 1862. He was being discharged for disability and the paper show that the Government owed him $36.59. It is on pre-printed paper with the blanks filled in nicely with blue ink. It was separated along the fold seams and has been repaired with tape. It measures 8 inches by 10 inches in overall size. The other paper is the certificate so he could get his final pay. It is accompanied by some printouts about Sanborn, his service and that of the 93rd New York. You get both of the documents for $69.00
