Here is a nice original Civil War veteran reunion ribbon. This one is from the 1904reunion of the members of the 4th Michigan Infantry. They served in many of the roughest battles of the Civil War including First Battle of Bull Run, the Peninsular Campaign, the Second Bull Run, Chantilly, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, the Wilderness, Spotsylvania Court House and Cold Harbor. At the top of the ribbon it has the "33rd Annual REUNION CO'S H.& I. 4TH M. V. Inf'try.". The bottom has the St. Clair, Mich. location of the reunion as well as the June 15th 1905 date of the reunion. The ribbon is red silk that has the black lettering color. The ribbon measures 6 inches by 1-1/2 inches in overall size. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
