Here is a nice Civil War bullet known to collectors as the ".45 Adams for the Tranter revolver". This one is in fine shape with an attractive look. It is the style pictured as figure #518, which is a .39 caliber bullet that is pictured in McKee & Mason's Bullet book. They are very distinctive because of the small pin like lead teat that comes out of the bottom of the ball. This bullet is very fine and is in excavated condition.
