Very Attractive 1861 Dated C.S. $50 With President Jefferson Davis T-16

This is a very desirable $50 version of the Confederate States of America banknote. It has the likeness of Confederate President Jefferson Davis in the center. This is the one listed as figure T-16 in Criswell's book on Confederate currency. The paper has the script style "CSA" visible when you hold it up to the light. It was issued in September 2nd 1861 and is so dated just below the bust view of President Davis. It has the beautiful green overprint on the face of the note. This one has the hand written serial numbers printed on each side of the President. The back of the note has the beautiful green pattern print with "THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMEERICA" along with two "50" numbers flaking the lettering. The note is correctly hand signed on each side by the register and treasurer's signers. On the back of the note, it is made without printing. This is known by collectors as the note being "Uniface". The note is in nice 100% authentic and is in circulated condition that displays well. It comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
