This is an original Civil War era CDV image of Civil War General Gouverneur Kemble Warren. Warren was born in Cold Spring, New York on January 8th 1830. He served during the Civil War as Lt. Colonel of the 5th New York Infantry. He was wounded during the battle of Gaine's Mill. He was promoted to Brigadier General on September 26th 1862. He gained fame on Little Round Top at Gettysburg. He died on August 8th 1882. The image shows the General in his Major General's Uniform. The overall size of a CDV image is approximately 2.5 inches by 4 inches in size. This is a solid original Civil War Union CDV image.
