Here is a tough to find button. This is the version that is illustrated as UU101 in Albert's button book. This one is so far unknown but it is believed that it was worn by a unit from Vermont. They are very hard to find as is evident by the fact that in Albert's book lists it with a relative value of $50. This was $50 in 1976. That should show you how scarce it was and is. This one is in very fine non-excavated condition with a pretty dark color all over. The back of the button has the original shank intact. It has the backmark that has 2 dotted circles with 12 five pointed stars inside the circles. You might not find another one of these anytime soon!
