1861 Confederate $100 Note with Slaves Unloading a Cotton Wagon T-13
Click on an image to enlarge

Here is a beautiful note. This is a very fine original 1861 production Confederate States of America $100.00 bill. This is the style with the sailor in the lower left hand corner of the note leaning on an anchor. In the center it has the slaves unloading a cotton wagon. This is the pattern of note that is listed in Criswell's book as a T-13. This one is correctly hand signed and numbered in fine old ink. The note is in attractive very fine lightly circulated condition. This note was printed by the Richmond, Virginia firm of Ludwig & Hoyer and is so marked in the center lower edge. It comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
