"Cotton Pledged" 1862 Dated Mississippi $50 Bill With Slave and Indian Images

This is an original 1862 dated Civil War issued $50.00 note from the state of Mississippi. In the center of the note it has the large pair of "50" printing in green ink. On the right hand side of the note it has the image of the slaves picking cotton. On the left hand side of the note it has the image of the Indian brave. It is hand signed and dated May 1st 1862. The note is in nice, circulated condition as you can see in the pictures and displays well. This is the version with the green ink "COTTON PLEDGED" over printing on the face of the note. The overall size of the note measures 7-1/2ths inches by 3 inches. It has a little paper loss to the left hand side. It comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
