Here is a very cool looking WWI Baden Model 1915 Spiked Helmet. This is the pattern that was worn by the officers of the fighting men during the First World War and is the pattern of hat that you think of when you think of that war. The helmet is made with the leather construction with leather sweatband and integral skullcap. On the front of the helmet, it has the gilded brass Baden wapen with flat chinscales secured with officer-type terminals. On the top, it has the round spike base with star studs, "egg and dart" perlring, and smooth 3.5" spike. The rear visor is loose and the finish is crazed but displays well. As you can see the liner is intact and in fine worn shape. The front plate is present and has you can see it displays superbly. This is a lot of artifact!
