This is a great little item. It is the small size powder flask that would have been used with a Civil War revolver. You often see these in cased sets of revolvers. This is the style that stands approximately 4-1/2 inches tall and is about 2-1/4th inches across. It has the smooth sides with the majority of the leather covering intact. It has a nice well worn look to the leather and a beautiful aged tone to the brass. At the top of the flask it has the spout and it still functions. The body of the flask has a nice look the side seams being solid. It will still display very well beside your Civil War era revolver.
