Here is a cool big gun with a neat story. This 1700's flintlock pistol has the top of barrel is marked "LAZARINO KOMANAZO", a reference to Lazzarino Cominazzo, a 17th century Italian gunsmith. The thing is that this more than likely isn't a gun that he made. It is more likely that this gun is a copy of his work that used his mark to try to charge more for it when it was new. It has a great look. The pistol measures a large 21 inches in overall size. The gun is in the original flintlock configuration and the mechanics still catches on both positions. It fires a single round ball of .75 Caliber from the smooth bore, 14 inch round to octagonal barrel. It is made of steel furniture with full-length Balkan-style1 piece wood stock that was designed with no ramrod. On the bottom of the grip, it has the iron cap with the mask style design to the center. This gun has a cool design a neat lot of character.
