Original .31 Caliber Brass Massachusetts Arms Company Bullet Mold

This is a tougher to find original Civil War bullet mold. This is the brass mold that would have gone along with a .31 caliber Massachusetts Arms Company revolver. We know this because of the maker's mark on the bottom of the leg of the mold. You can still see the majority of the stamp that would have read "MASS ARMS CO./ CHICOPEE FALLS". The mold still opens and closes and would cast a bullet still today. It is designed to cast one round ball and one conical bullet. You can tell that this one was used a lot but still displays quite well.
