Here is a cool Confederate made $5 note from Mississippi. This one was issued from Natchez, Mississippi from the County of Adams. This note is for the amount of $5.00 and was issued on May 29, 1862. It has the issue date in ink in the center of the note. The County issued these warrants, payable in Confederate funds, that were receivable for all debts due the county on May 29, 1862. This note is printed on the back of an Agricultural Bank of Mississippi stock entitlement certificate. The note measures 6-5/8ths inches by 2-7/8ths inches in overall size. It is in fine displaying circulated condition and comes in an acid-free holder for display and preservation.
