Pink Paper 1862 Dated Confederate States $5 Note From Richmond T-53

This is a nice authentic original 1862 dated Confederate States of America $5.00 bill. This is the style that has the Confederate Capitol at Richmond, Virginia in the center of the note. It also has the clear printed date of December 2nd 1862. In the lower right hand side is the likeness of C.G. Memminger who served as the Confederate Secretary of the Treasury and was the key man in production of Confederate paper money. The note has the correct hand signed and numbered on the pink tone paper. On the back of the note it has the ornate blue ink print that gives it a wonderful look. The note has a very nice look. This is the pattern of Confederate note that is listed as T-53 in Criswell's book. The overall size of the note measures 7-1/8th inches by 3 inches. It is attractive circulated and comes in an acid free holder for preservation and display.
