Scarce Version 1862 Issued Confederate State of Mississippi $10 Note

This is an original 1862 dated Civil War issued $10.00 note from the state of Mississippi. This is one of the very scarce pieces of currency issued from the Mississippi treasury. In the center of the note, it has the large "TEN DOLLARS” printing. It also has the image of the slave taking care of two horses. On the right-hand side of the note it has the image of a female. On the left-hand side of the note it has the image of Colonel M.D. Haynes who served as the Treasurer of the State of Mississippi. It is hand signed and dated January 24th 1862. The note has been professionally graded by the PCGS Company and they graded it as being "Very Fine” condition and as you can see in the pictures and displays well. The overall size of the note measures 7-1/4ths inches by 3-1/8th inches. It comes in the PCGS grading acid free holder for display and preservation.
