Here is a note that you seldom get a chance to own. This is an original piece of currency from the early days of Texas. This is an original $10 note issued by the "GOVERNMENT OF TEXAS" and is so marked along the top center of the note. On the left side of the note it has the image of the two men in a row boat watching an early steamboat. On the right hand side it has the image of the maiden sitting beside a broken column. It has the correct ink signatures along the bottom as well as the January 1st 1838 date of issuance. It has the serial number that is hand written of "2478" at the top. This one has the cut cancellation marks as well as some paper repairs to the back of the note and it is priced accordingly. It is in an acid-free holder for display and preservation. This is a cool early Texas piece of currency!
