Confederate General Fitzhugh Lee in Uniform CDV Image
Click on an image to enlarge

This is an authentic CDV image of Confederate General Fitzhugh Lee (1835-1905). He was the nephew of General Robert E. Lee and also a graduate of West Point. He served as Adjutant in Ewell's Brigade and was appointed Brigadier General in August of 1863. He was an important general that had both a brigade and a division of cavalry in the Army of Northern Virginia throughout all of the Army's campaigns. He was wounded in the Battle of Winchester, Virginia. After the Civil War he was elected Governor of the state of Virginia and Consul General to Havana in 1896. This is a great looking image of the general and you can see the one of the stars on his collar. This is a nice addition to an already fine image. The overall size of a CDV image is approximately 2.5 inches by 4 inches in size. It is a fine original CDV that will make a solid addition to any Confederate Civil War collection.
