This is a neat piece of Civil War money. It is an original 35 cent bank note from the Bank of the Montgomery County in Christiansburg, Virginia. Yes that isn't a typo, it is for 35 cents. In the center of the note it has the "THIRTY FIVE CENTS" denomination. The note is
smaller and measures 6 inches by 2-1/2 inches in size. It has the printed
issuance date of March 29th 1862 in the right side of the note. The
note is in nice circulated condition. It is hand signed and numbered as it should be.
The note comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
