Here is a cool note from a tough to find bank. This is a piece of currency was issued by the Old Dominion Savings Bank in Richmond, Virginia and is marked as such along the center of the note. The General Assembly authorized this bank on March 19, 1860. The note was printed by F.W. Bornemann, Charleston, S.C. It has the issue dateSeptember 2nd 1861. On the left hand side of the note, it has the image of the farmer. The note was issued in the amount of $1.00. It is made with the blank back which is known as it being "Uniface".
